Many dual SIM and eSIM phones have two IMEI numbers because each cellular line needs its own equipment identity. This is normal and does not automatically mean the phone has a problem.

When checking a dual SIM device, record which IMEI belongs to which SIM slot or eSIM line. A carrier, marketplace or repair shop may ask for the specific IMEI tied to the line being activated.

If only one IMEI appears, review the device settings and manufacturer documentation. Some tablets, Wi-Fi-only devices or disabled cellular profiles may show fewer identifiers.
